Raw Materials

AdBlue® production requires only two key components:

  • Urea – a synthetic chemical derived from Ammonia and Carbon Dioxide
  • Water – purified and free from trace minerals or any contaminants.

Production Process

There are two main methods to produce AdBlue®:

  • Dissolving solidified Urea granules (known as prills) in purified water at locations near the demand centers.
  • Dissolving synthetic Urea directly in purified water at a Urea manufacturing facility.

Both methods, when coupled with stringent quality controls and testing, ensure AdBlue® meets the required standards.

Greenox® Production in India

Given that the majority of AdBlue® is water and considering the absence of Urea production plants within India, the most cost-effective and sustainable approach to supply AdBlue® nationwide is through local dissolving of Urea prills.

This method enables Greenox® to be delivered efficiently and promptly, reducing the overall carbon footprint. Additionally, storing dry raw materials in larger quantities allows us to handle fluctuations in demand effectively, ensuring that Greenox® is always available when you need it.
