AdBlue®is a precisely formulated solution consisting of 32.5% high-purity urea and 67.5% deionized water. It plays a vital role in reducing harmful emissions from diesel-powered commercial vehicles, particularly those operating across European roads. AdBlue®is essential for the proper functioning of Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) — an advanced exhaust after-treatment system designed to significantly cut nitrogen oxide (NOₓ) emissions, a major contributor to air pollution.
Unlike diesel fuel, AdBlue® is a clear, non-toxic, and environmentally safe liquid. It is neither a fuel nor a fuel additive, but a separate operating fluid stored in a dedicated tank and injected into the exhaust stream.
To ensure consistent performance and environmental safety, AdBlue® is manufactured to strict quality standards — IS 17042, DIN 70070 and ISO 22241 — ensuring compatibility with SCR systems and safeguarding vehicle components.
